These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the access and use of EV charging services provided by Reliable Charge through its mobile applications, website, and physical charging infrastructure. By accessing or using the Reliable Charge platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Use of the Reliable Charge platform is also governed by additional policies including the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Safety & Usage Policy, and other operational guidelines published by Reliable Charge. These policies form an integral part of these Terms.
1. Definitions
“Platform” refers to the Reliable Charge mobile application, website, backend systems, and associated digital services. “Charging Station” refers to EV charging equipment installed, operated, or managed by Reliable Charge. “User” refers to any individual or entity accessing or using the Reliable Charge platform. “Charging Session” refers to the process during which a vehicle receives electrical energy through a Reliable Charge charging station. “Wallet” refers to the prepaid digital balance maintained within the user’s Reliable Charge account. “Roaming Partner” refers to third-party EV charging networks or mobility platforms connected with Reliable Charge.
2. Eligibility to Use Services
Users must:
Be at least 18 years of age
Provide accurate account information
Maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials Users are responsible for all activities performed through their account.
3. User Account Registration
To use Reliable Charge services, users may be required to create an account. Users must provide accurate details including:
Name
Mobile number
Email address
Vehicle details (optional) Reliable Charge reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where incorrect or fraudulent information is provided.
4. Charging Services
Reliable Charge provides access to EV charging infrastructure through its digital platform. Users may initiate charging sessions via:
Mobile application
RFID card
QR code
Roaming partner applications Charging availability may vary based on: Station occupancy, Grid availability, Vehicle compatibility, Network connectivity. Reliable Charge does not guarantee uninterrupted service availability.
5. Charging Session Authorization
Charging sessions may begin only after successful authorization through the Reliable Charge platform. Authorization methods may include: Mobile app authorization, RFID authentication, QR code activation, Roaming platform authorization. Once a charging session is authorized, the session shall be considered valid and billable.
6. Pricing and Billing
Charging tariffs are determined based on factors including: Electricity consumption (kWh), Charging duration, Location-specific pricing. Prices are displayed within the mobile application before session initiation. Billing calculations are based on energy delivered as recorded by the charging station’s metering system.
7. Payments
Payments may be made through: Reliable Charge wallet, UPI, Debit card, Credit card, Net banking, Partner platforms. Payments are processed through third-party payment processors including Razorpay. Reliable Charge is not responsible for delays or failures caused by payment gateways or banking partners.
8. Wallet Usage
Users may add funds to their Reliable Charge wallet for faster charging session payments. Wallet balances: Are intended solely for EV charging services, Are generally non-withdrawable, May be subject to refund rules defined in the Refund Policy.
9. Roaming Charging
Reliable Charge may allow charging sessions initiated through partner mobility platforms. Users acknowledge that: Pricing and policies may vary across roaming networks, Refund processing for roaming sessions may require coordination with partner networks.
10. Acceptable Use
Users agree not to: Damage or tamper with charging equipment, Use chargers for non-EV purposes, Attempt unauthorized access to the platform, Misuse refund or wallet systems. Violation may result in suspension of services.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, software, trademarks, and branding associated with Reliable Charge remains the intellectual property of Reliable Charge or its licensors. Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute platform materials without permission.
12. Limitation of Liability
Reliable Charge shall not be liable for: Vehicle battery damage, Manufacturer compatibility issues, Charging speed variations, Power outages, Network interruptions, Third-party service disruptions. Charging performance may vary depending on vehicle specifications and environmental factors.
13. Service Suspension
Reliable Charge reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where: Fraudulent activity is suspected, Payment disputes arise, Platform misuse occurs, Violations of terms.
14. Force Majeure
Reliable Charge shall not be liable for service interruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, grid outages, telecommunications failures, government actions, or other force majeure events.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi.
16. Modifications
Reliable Charge reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Last Updated:
